Obviously, most of you know who I am, but some know more or less than others. Today, I am a Registered Nurse at Deaconess Gateway Hospital on the Medical/Surgical Intensive Care Unit. I graduated from the University of Southern Indiana with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree in December of 2016. Mathew and I have two beautiful and busy dogs, Halligan and Lana. We recently purchased our first home in April of 2017, and have been planning the wedding since April of 2016. Most people ask, "Why are you two waiting two years to get married?" My response included, wanting to graduate college, secure a position as a Registered Nurse, pass my state nursing boards, save money, establish myself as a nurse, and lastly purchase our own home. I can proudly say that we have achieved all our goals before the wedding!

Currently, Mathew is a volunteer firefighter/officer and dayshift officer for Marrs Township Fire Department. Mathew also works as a firefighter at the Toyota plant, where he started in the spring of 2016. In addition to volunteering at Marrs Township Fire Department, Matt also volunteers at Mt. Vernon City Fire Department. Mathew also earned his EMT certification in the spring of 2015.
