We've been together quite a while, with all of our pots and pans. And as we don't need homely gifts, we have another plan! We know it's not traditional and not the way it's done. But rather than a wedding list, we'd love a bit of fun! So if you would like to gift a gift and send us on our way, a donation to our honeymoon would really make our day!

After living together for 2 years, there is very little we need to complete our home. One thing we would love is this incredible trip to Iceland. We have both been incredibly busy with our careers and education, and neither one of us has been on a vacation in a very long time. We know Iceland in November sounds insane, but we're very excited to start our new life together with the adventure of a lifetime!

The Blue Lagoon is a unique wonder of Iceland, a result of all that volcanic activity the small island is so famous for. In the middle of the weird and wonderful, flat black lava fields of the Svartsengi National Park, the huge, outdoor lagoon is filled by naturally heated geothermal water which comes from 6,500 feet (2,000 meters) below the surface of the earth. It is full of minerals, silica and algae and is especially good for the skin and relaxation. In fact, part of the Blue Lagoon development is a health clinic specializing in cures for psoriasis. The water is almost startlingly blue in color, and the white of the silica on the black lava rocks around the edges makes an amazing contrast.  As well as soaking and swimming in the pool, the Blue Lagoon offers in-water massage treatments, saunas and steam rooms, and a cafe. On any visit to Iceland a few hours soaking in The Blue Lagoon is essential, and its location between Reykjavik and the airport makes it easy to do.

We will be flying out of Indianapolis with a connecting flight in New York City. We will arrive in Reykjavik at 8 am on Tuesday, November 14th. We will be staying at the Radisson Blue Saga hotel in Reykjavik, which is the capital of Iceland. Our flight homes leaves Reykjavik at 9 am, putting us back in Indianapolis around 6 pm.
